Yes — no credit card, no trial period, no email gates. Free gets 2 quizzes, 5 homework questions, and 3 notes generations every day, forever. Pro adds unlimited on top of that — it doesn't replace anything you already have.
Same unlimited Pro features either way. Pro Monthly is $9.99 billed every month; Pro Annual is $79 billed once a year — that works out to $6.58/month, about 34% off. Both renew automatically until you cancel.
If something broke on our end — quiz quality, an outage, a billing bug — email us within 14 days of the charge and we'll refund. We don't refund "I changed my mind" cancellations, but you can cancel anytime and keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for.
Yes. Open Settings and click Manage Subscription — that opens the Stripe billing portal where you can cancel, switch plans, or update your card. You keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
Anything Stripe accepts in your country — most major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. We never store your card; Stripe does.
Yes — at midnight UTC, every day. Free tier daily limits are per calendar day, not per 24-hour rolling window, so the reset is predictable.
How the study tools actually work — and what Pro unlocks.
Pro removes the daily caps on quizzes, homework questions, and notes. It also unlocks quiz history (so you can review what you missed), flashcard exports, and the priority AI model — same questions, faster and more accurate.
On the Quiz page, click Question Engine and upload a photo of a problem (homework, a textbook page, a whiteboard). We read the question, walk through the logic step-by-step, and let you quiz yourself on the same idea — not hand you an answer you can copy-paste.
Quiz history keeps every quiz you've finished and lets you revisit the ones you missed — the questions, your answers, and the explanations. Flashcard export turns any saved notes into a deck you can review offline. Both are Pro-only.
Free and Pro both run on the same AI, but Pro requests jump the queue and use the larger, more capable model. In practice you'll see cleaner explanations on hard problems and less waiting at peak times.

No. Creating an account is free and never asks for payment details. We only collect a card if you choose to upgrade to Pro — and even then, it goes straight to Stripe, not us.
What we collect, what we don't, and how to reach a human.
An email address (if you sign up), your notes, your quiz answers, and basic usage analytics (pageviews, button clicks) so we can see what's working. We never sell anything to anyone.
Photos are sent to our AI to read the question and then discarded. We don't store uploaded images on our servers, don't use them for training, and don't share them with anyone outside the AI pipeline.
Stripe (payments), Meta Pixel (anonymous ad analytics — fire-and-forget, no PII), and an OpenAI API accessed through Polsia's proxy (quiz generation and short-answer grading). All three are on standard data-processing agreements; nothing leaves that list.
Yes. Anything you save is yours. You can delete it from the UI at any time, and we honor deletion on the backend within 30 days. If you stop using Studyflow, you can ask us to wipe your account and we will.
Email us at the address on your receipt from Stripe — or reply to any studyflow email. We read every message and reply within one business day.

Every quiz and walk-through runs through a frontier AI model — the priority Pro model is the larger one, Free gets the smaller one. It's not perfect on tricky proofs or multi-step physics, but for the vast majority of high-school and intro college work it's right, and when it's wrong it shows its reasoning so you can catch it. Anything you can write a topic for — algebra, biology, chemistry, history, literature, economics, AP coursework, intro college, you name it.
